Arrows That Render Everywhere
A few arrows are emoji on some platforms (⬆ ⬇ ▶ can render as blue emoji squares on iOS); the rest are plain text.

Arrows in Instagram and TikTok Bios
The link-in-bio pointer is the most common use: a line such as “➤ new video ⬇” or “shop here 👇” placed just above the link. For a multi-line bio, one arrow style per line (➤ Designer / ➤ Based in Lahore / ➤ DM for work) reads as a tidy list. Instagram allows line breaks in the bio when edited from the app; TikTok bios are limited to 80 characters, so use one arrow line.
Arrows in Posts, Threads and Documents
In X threads and LinkedIn posts, ↳ marks a follow-up point and → shows a cause-and-effect chain (idea → test → result). The Arrow list row bullets a whole pasted list, which is faster than adding markers by hand. Arrows are read aloud by screen readers as “black rightwards arrowhead” and similar, so keep them to list markers rather than decorating every word.
