Privacy Policy

Text you type or paste into the editor and text converters is processed in your browser and is not sent to Pro Texty's servers. When you press Copy, the result is written to your device's clipboard. The symbol search on the home page is different: its search query and selected category are sent as Google Analytics event parameters. Please do not enter sensitive information in that search box.

We do not offer accounts, so we do not collect names, passwords or payment details through accounts. Depending on how you use the site, the following information may be processed by us or our service providers:

• Email you send us. If you contact us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.
• Analytics events. Google Analytics 4 is loaded after the page loads. We send page and interaction events, including tool/style use, copy lengths, and the home-page symbol search query and category. Google Consent Mode starts with consent denied and is updated when you make a choice; in denied mode Google may still receive limited cookieless signals.
• Advertising and related technical data. Google AdSense loads after the page loads. Separate advertising scripts from profitableratecpmnetwork.com load after timed delays, and an advertising iframe may load content from highrevenueformat.com on pages where it is shown. These scripts load independently of the Google consent choice and may receive standard request and device information or use cookies and similar technologies. • Country for the donation button. To decide whether to show the optional "Buy me a coffee" PayPal button, our hosting provider reads the country from your IP address and tells your browser. We do not store this. Your browser keeps the result only for the current tab session.
• Server logs. Our host, Vercel, keeps standard technical logs, including IP addresses, for security and reliability. These are kept for a limited period.

Some small settings are saved in your browser's local storage, on your own device only. They are never sent to us:

• your light or dark theme choice;
• your cookie consent choice;
• your recently used font styles and symbols, so they appear first next time;
• the donation-button country check (session storage, cleared when the tab closes).

You can remove all of these at any time by clearing your browser's site data for protexty.com.

• to reply to your messages and support requests;
• to understand which tools are useful, fix problems and improve the site through the analytics practices described below;
• to show ads that help keep Pro Texty free through the advertising services listed below;
• to keep the site secure and working (server logs).

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

On your first visit, a banner asks for your choice:

• Allow Google analytics and ads: the site updates Google Consent Mode to grant analytics and advertising consent. Google services may use cookies and similar technologies, including for personalised advertising.
• Keep Google consent denied: Google consent signals remain denied. Google tags are still loaded, and denied mode may send limited cookieless signals; this choice does not guarantee that Google makes no requests or that no advertising is shown. The separate advertising scripts from Profitableratecpmnetwork and Highrevenueformat load independently of this choice and may use cookies or similar technologies.

You can change your Google consent choice at any time with Cookie Settings. You can also opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of participating third-party vendors' cookies at aboutads.info. Cookie and data practices for the separate ad scripts are governed by those providers and any partners they use.

These services are loaded by the site or used when you choose the related feature. Their own privacy policies describe their data practices:

We keep emails only as long as we need them to answer your request and any follow-up. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings and is not linked to your name. Hosting logs are removed automatically after a limited period. Settings in your browser stay there until you clear them.

The whole site is served over HTTPS, and because your text is processed on your own device, there is no stored text that could leak. We take reasonable steps to protect the little information we do receive. However, no method of sending data over the internet is completely secure.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to withdraw consent, and to object to processing. Since we do not have accounts or store your text, the only personal data we are likely to hold is an email you sent us. To use any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We will reply within 30 days. California residents may ask us not to "sell" their personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Our pages may link to other websites, such as social networks, Google or PayPal. We do not control those sites. Please read their privacy policies before you share information with them.

Pro Texty is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We update this policy when our tools or the services we use change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows the latest version. This version adds how your text is processed on your device, what is stored in your browser, and the country check for the donation button.
