A bio is three or four short lines with a hard character limit, which makes it different from a caption or a post. This bio font generator is organised around that structure: a bold headline style, a spaced tagline, line prefixes like โณ and ๐, and dividers โ all Unicode, all copy-and-paste, all counted against the limit so you can plan.
Use the same text in every profile: Instagram (150 characters), TikTok (80), X (160), Threads (150), Discord About Me (190), LinkedIn headline (220).
Most effective bios follow the same pattern: who you are (bold), what you do (plain, keyword-rich), where or for whom (๐ or โณ line), and a call to action pointing at the link. Style the first line and the divider; keep the "what you do" line plain so platform search can match it. On TikTok's 80-character limit, use just a bold headline and one plain line.
Letter styles (bold, script, small caps) cost one character per letter, the same as plain text. Spaced text doubles the count, underline doubles it, and each symbol in a divider counts once. Plan the styled lines first and fill the remaining budget with plain text.
Instagram and Threads share a bio and render every style here. TikTok is short โ one styled line at most. X bios show in search results, so keep keywords plain. Discord About Me supports Markdown too, but Unicode fonts are the only way to style it consistently across desktop and mobile. LinkedIn headlines should stay mostly plain with one bold phrase.
Screen readers announce Unicode font characters individually, so the plain-text lines in your bio are what make it accessible. Keep contact details, your niche and your call to action in plain text and use fonts for the headline and decoration only.
