PUBG Mobile and Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) allow 14 characters in a player name and accept most Unicode letters and symbols – the source of the ꧁☬ ☬꧂, 亗 and ツ names you see in every lobby. This PUBG name generator applies those styles to your own name so you can compare them before spending a rename card.
Every style here is tested against PUBG Mobile's name field. Emoji are not accepted; symbol characters are.
Names are 1–14 characters. Unicode letters and most symbols count as one character each. The name filter blocks offensive words and a few reserved symbols; emoji are rejected. You need a Rename Card (one is given for free early on, later ones cost 180 UC or are earned from events). Clan names have a separate 6-character clan tag shown in brackets before your name – the [TAG] is added by the game, so you do not need to type brackets for it.
亗 (a CJK character) became a PUBG trademark because it looks like a stylised "pro" mark and renders on every phone. ☬ (the Sikh Khanda symbol) is widely used inside ꧁꧂ brackets; use it respectfully. ツ and ヅ are Japanese katakana that look like smiling faces. Gothic bold gives a heavy, aggressive look; small caps with ⚡ is a clean sniper-style name. Because the name field is narrow, avoid more than two symbols.
BGMI (India), PUBG Mobile (global), PUBG Mobile KR and PUBG: New State all use the same 14-character Unicode rules, so a name generated here works in each. PUBG on PC and console uses a different system with letters, numbers and limited symbols only.
Preview your name on the phone you play on – if a symbol shows as a box, choose a more common one. Keep the readable part of your name in a standard alphabet so squadmates can find you in the friend search, which matches plain characters.
20 font styles, 5000+ symbols and a full Unicode text editor. Everything runs in your browser and your text never leaves your device.
