CODM Nickname Rules
Nicknames must be 1โ16 characters; Unicode letters and most symbols count as one each, while emoji are rejected. A Rename Card is given to new accounts and can be earned from events or bought in the store. Names are checked against a profanity filter and against a list of reserved words (developer and official-account names).

Readable Names in Lobbies
CODM's lobby list and kill feed use a compact font. Sans Bold, Gothic Bold and Small Caps stay legible; Double Struck and Square are more decorative and best for short names. One symbol at the front (โ , โ, โก) is enough โ stacking several eats the character limit and is cut off in the kill feed.
Test Before Renaming
Paste the name into a clan or lobby chat to check its appearance on your device. Common symbols such as โ , โ , โก and ใ may have broader font coverage than rarer characters, but the game can still reject them in a player name. Test in the intended field before using a rename item.
