Calligraphy Font Generator – Elegant Calligraphy Text Copy & Paste

Calligraphy fonts in Unicode come from two families: the Mathematical Script alphabet (𝒞𝒶𝓁𝓁𝒾𝑔𝓇𝒶𝓅𝒽𝓎 and its bold form 𝓒𝓪𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝔂), which mimics copperplate handwriting, and the Fraktur alphabet (𝔊𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠), which mimics medieval blackletter calligraphy. Both are real characters, so the calligraphy survives copy and paste into any app – something an image or an installed font cannot do.

Script (𝒮𝒸𝓇𝒾𝓅𝓉) is the lighter copperplate style – elegant but thin, best for a single name at a large size. Bold Script (𝓢𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽) is the same shapes with more weight and is far more readable on phones, which is why it is the default for Instagram names. Gothic (𝔊𝔬𝔱𝔥𝔦𝔠) is blackletter calligraphy – heavy, historic, and popular for tattoos, music and streetwear branding.

The most common uses are display names and bios on Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest, wedding and event captions, signature lines in emails and messages, and titles on Pinterest boards. Because the output is text, it can also be pasted into design tools, Notion pages and documents where a matching calligraphy font is not installed.

Calligraphy styles are decorative and slow to read. Use them for a name or one short phrase, never for a paragraph. A few script capitals (𝒜, 𝒥, 𝒬) are stylised enough to be mistaken for other letters – check your name in the preview before using it as a username display.

A handful of letters in the plain Script alphabet (like ℯ, ℊ, ℴ) live in a different block and can render in a slightly different weight – Bold Script avoids this and looks uniform everywhere.
