Telegram Fonts Generator – Bold, Fancy & Stylish Text for Telegram

Telegram already has rich formatting in messages – bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, spoilers and code – so why use Unicode fonts? Because Telegram's formatting does not work in your profile name, bio, group and channel names, poll questions, or bot commands, and it is lost when a message is forwarded to another app. Unicode fonts work in all of those places and travel with the text.

Channel admins also use Unicode styles that Telegram does not offer natively: script, small caps, double struck and gothic for headers and branding.

Use Telegram's built-in formatting (select text → Bold/Italic) for ordinary messages: it is searchable and accessible. Use Unicode fonts where formatting is not available – names, bios, titles – or when you want a style Telegram lacks. In channel posts many admins combine both: a Unicode small-caps or script header, followed by a plain-text body with Telegram bold for key phrases.

Large channels use a consistent post structure so subscribers can skim: a 📣 bold header, ▪ bullet lines, and a ━━ divider before the link. Because these are Unicode characters, the structure survives when subscribers forward posts to WhatsApp or other apps – native Telegram bold would be lost in the forward.

All Telegram clients render the same Unicode characters, so a styled name looks the same on desktop and mobile. Very old Android devices may lack glyphs for the italic and script alphabets; Sans Bold and Small Caps are safe everywhere.

Bot commands (/start, /help) must be plain ASCII, and bots that parse messages may not recognise styled words. Keep any text a bot needs to read in plain characters, and use fonts only for the human-facing parts of a message.
