A text decorator adds symbols around a word or line to turn it into a header or divider. All of the borders here – box-drawing lines (═ ━ ─), block elements (▁▂▃ ░▒▓), geometric shapes (◆ ◤ ◢) and ornaments (༺ ༻ ¸,ø¤º°) – are Unicode characters, so the decorated text pastes into any bio, post or chat exactly as shown.

Use it for section headers in a long Instagram bio, channel announcements on Discord and Telegram, Twitch panel titles, or a decorative signature at the end of posts.

How to Use This Generator

  1. Type the word or line you want to frame.
  2. Choose a decoration – double lines and dotted lines are the most versatile.
  3. Copy and paste. Combine with a Unicode font using the bold and small-caps variants.

Decoration Families

Box-drawing characters (═ ━ ─ ┃) were designed for terminal interfaces and line up neatly, so they make clean dividers. Block elements (▁▂▃▅▆▇ ░▒▓█) create gradient and shading effects. Geometric shapes (◆ ★ ◤ ◢ ➤) act as bullets and corners. Ornamental symbols (༺ ༻ ¸,ø¤º°) come from Tibetan and Latin typographic ranges and give the swirly "MySpace-era" look that is back in fashion for aesthetic bios.

Making Headers and Dividers

For a bio, decorate one header line and leave the details plain: ═══ 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 ═══ followed by normal text. For a divider between sections, decorate an empty-looking line such as a single dot. On Discord and Telegram, announcement headers with ▁▂▃ gradient bars are common because they are visible in the compact message list.

  • Instagram bio header: ═══ ɴᴀᴍᴇ ═══
  • Discord announcement: ▁▂▃ 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 ▃▂▁
  • Twitch panel title: ◆ ━━━ Schedule ━━━ ◆
  • Signature: ·:*¨༺ Name ༻¨*:·

Alignment and Width

Box-drawing characters are the same width in monospace fonts but vary in proportional fonts, so a decoration that looks centred on your phone may look slightly off on desktop. Symmetrical decorations (the same symbols on both sides) hide this best. Block elements are wide; three or four per side is usually enough.

Character Limits

Each symbol counts as one character (block elements and box-drawing are single code points), so ═══ Text ═══ costs eight characters of decoration. On short fields such as a TikTok bio (80 characters) choose a compact decoration like • text • or ┃ text ┃.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the decorations show on every phone?+
Yes – box-drawing, block and geometric characters are in every system font. Ornamental Tibetan marks (༺ ༻) render on all current devices.
Can I decorate multiple lines?+
Decorate one line at a time and paste each into your bio or post.
Why does the decoration look off-centre on desktop?+
Proportional fonts give symbols different widths. Symmetrical decorations minimise this.
Can I combine decorations with fancy fonts?+
Yes – see the bold and small-caps variants, or paste already-styled text into the input.
Is the text decorator free?+
Yes.
